The San José State chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon was initiated on April 9, 1938.  Since its date of establishment, the Phi Mu chapter has sought to uphold and promote the philosophies of the Mu Phi Epsilon organization both within the San José State community and throughout the Silicon Valley area.
